As we renovate our second building now, the motel, there are mission opportunities for groups and individuals to make a difference in their community.
We moved our thrift store early in March 2017 and completed the banquet room in April 2017 . Our restaurant opened in December 2017. As we tackle buildings 2 and 3, we expect mission opportunities to abound for years to come.
Pray: for God's vision to be fulfilled, for teams to be safe, for discernment of how God is calling you to use your gifts and talents for His kingdom.
Work: to make this God vision a reality; both skilled and unskilled labor is needed; extra help needed right now during renovations and when we more the thrift store; great opportunities for individuals and teams
Give: every dollar can move this project further towards completion; you may mail tax-deductible donations directly to JCC, P O Box 190, Jetersville, VA 23083 or donate online at jccenter.org There are opportunities to memorialize or honor loved ones and to become a JCC Partner.

The Amelia Thrift Store is staffed by all volunteers and there is something that everyone can do. Our community is generous with gifts and donations, but it takes an active body of workers to sort and organize the gifts. We need cashiers, assistants, organizers, strong bodies and willing spirits. We welcome groups and individuals. We can give young people community service hours. Now in its 17th year of operation, the store expanded in 2020 by adding a Furniture Warehouse and in 2024 we added a Clothes Barn. Three great buildings! Come and check it out!
The store is open Thursday and Friday from 11 am to 7:30 pm and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm.
