Amelia Thrift Store

Established in 2009 by community members selling only donated items and staffed only by volunteers, by 2023 the store has given away away more than $300,000 to help meet community needs, plus hundreds of coats, shoes, jeans and books. 

Now in it's third location, the store added a modular unit known as the Furniture Barn in 2020.

The community is very generous with donations and it takes a large effort by volunteers to sort, clean, repair, price and display the items for sale. Community service workers are accepted from the court systems and we can document hours served by high school and college students looking for community service opportunities.
